We’ve been in talks recently with a large French Energy Company that wanted to know if the fuel made in a BioPro 380, fuel made from waste cooking oil, would meet the rigorous EN 14214 standard widely accepted in Europe. (The EN standard is the equivalent of the ASTM D6751 used in the United States). If fuel meets either of these standards, it can be sold legally to the public anywhere in the world.
The results are in: Fuel made in a BioPro 380 meets and exceeds all of the requirements for sale and use in Europe. Test results above.
We’ve been collecting ASTM test results since 2008, performed by our customers on fuel made in their BioPro equipment. This is the first time the fuel has been tested for the European requirements.
Anyone with an expensive diesel engine knows, making highest quaity fuel is important: https://www.springboardbiodiesel.com/astm-springboard-biodiesel
Please note: this same tested fuel emits 86.5% less CO2 (life cycle) than regular diesel, and it cost $1.18 per gallon ($0.31/liter) to make.
