Biodiesel vs Electric: Analysis of emissions

Engineering students Maryza Bustamante and Ryan Gomez of the California State University Chico, compiled this well-sourced comparative analysis of emissions from passenger cars in 2022. Diesel cars running on biodiesel emit less CO2 than those running on electricity in their respective life cycles of production and use.  The biodiesel they chose to compare was biodiesel made from virgin soybean oil.  It's important to note that approximately 95% of our customers convert used cooking oils in the BioPro equipment and, therefore, It's safe to say that biodiesel made from this material, in these machines, locally, will compare even more favorably to electric and other vehicle emissions, based on a life cycle analysis.
